RTPA:
Los médicos de las urgencias de los hospitales asturianos comenzarán mañana la huelga que han convocado para los próximos cinco días. Con este paro los facultativos demandan la equiparación al resto de médicos hospitalarios.
Unos 180 profesionales han sido convocados por el Sindicato Médico de Asturias para denunciar lo que consideran "falta de diálogo" por parte de la Administración, a la que acusan de querer cambiar sus condiciones laborales sin consultarles.
El SIMPA insiste en que las protestas no afectarán al paciente, ya que los servicios mínimos garantizarán la asistencia. Así, las consultas y las intervenciones se realizarán con normalidad. Lo que se suspenderán son los trabajos burocráticos y las labores de investigación y docencia.
Los profesionales de Urgencias exigen que se les equipare al resto de médicos hospitalarios y temen que con decretos como éste, publicado el 30 de enero en el BOPA, se implanten turnos de trabajo sin el cobro de nocturnidad ni festivos.
